ABOUT
Aloha! I'm Makai, a water photographer based out of Kailua-Kona, Hawai'i. Born in Oceanside, I started surfing at the age of 2 and spent my earlier childhood traveling and competing as a sponsored surfer. At the age of 20 I purchased my first water ready camera, and found a new connection to the magic of the ocean.
Now over 10 years later, I'm still excited to go to work everyday and offer personalized photography with one booking slot available per day. Whether you are looking for a sunrise paddle, a morning surf with friends, a coastal adventure, or a family gathering, I'd love to help you capture your next special moment in paradise!
